He is the Most Great

God beareth witness, etc. He is the Almighty. After the Bismillah—God beareth witness, etc.

Thou shalt, of a certainty, bear witness that there is none other God but Him, the All-Powerful Protector, the Self-Subsisting; and that I, verily, am the Qa’im of Truth—He Who hath been promised.

And We have commanded that there be sent unto thee tablets of precious paper, dearly-beloved; therefore shalt thou enjoin that one should, in every tablet, write a book consisting of nineteen bayts in nineteen bayts, and that in every bayt he should inscribe the words “God is the Most Great” in the fairest and most beloved of calligraphy. And when thou hast finished, clothe it with two comely coverings, according as … of the believers; and preserve that which We have revealed unto thee even as thine own eyes—for one letter of the words of God is not to be equalled by all the worlds. And when the book is completed, make mention of that which thou knowest to be contained therein; for verily We are they who shall assuredly accomplish [Our purpose].
