BB00234: Ayati allati Nuzzilat fi Yaumi’l-’Arafa
In the Name of God, the Most Inaccessible, the Most Holy
Verily I am God; there is no God but Me, the All-Knowing. I have created all things that they may know Me and worship Me, and that they may not associate anyone with Me. I have sent Messengers before, that they might prepare you for the Day of My Manifestation, which now you witness. I have revealed Books before, that they might teach you the knowledge of My good-pleasure, which now you know.
Every people follows their Messenger, yet all are veiled from what I have willed for them. Each recites what was revealed in the Books to their Messenger, yet they are far removed from what I intended therein. Therefore bear witness, O all things, and be certain! At this time there is none upon the earth who has attained My good-pleasure save those who are certain of God their Lord and who believe in Him upon Whom these verses are revealed, and who believe in what I have revealed in the Bayan. These are the companions of Paradise, and all others are the companions of the Fire, and verily these shall abide in Paradise until the Day of Resurrection.
This is the true religion in the Bayan. When the Day of Resurrection comes, if they believe in that for which they were created, then what they have gained in the Bayan shall profit them. Otherwise, I shall not look upon them; and even if I should look upon them, it would be as though all on earth were in distant veils.
I have created nothing in the heavens or on the earth or between them, nor sent Messengers before, nor revealed Books, nor set forth aught in the Bayan, except that ye might believe in Him Whom I shall make manifest on the Day of Resurrection in truth. This is what I have willed for those who desire Me, if ye truly desire Me. Otherwise, ye may call upon God, but your prayers will not benefit you; ye desire to worship Me according to what ye love, but none of your worship will be accepted.
If ye desire to worship God your Lord, then how is it that on that Day ye believe not in the signs of God? In every Revelation I desire to be worshipped as I ordain, not according to what ye have learned from My previous ordination. This is My path in the heavens and on the earth and whatsoever is between them; follow it in truth if ye desire Me.
Say: If ye love God, then ye must love Him Whom God shall make manifest, if ye be truthful in your love for God. And if ye follow not those who are in the Bayan—these are servants who were created by the command of Him upon Whom the Bayan was revealed—ye follow none but God if ye follow Him Whom God shall make manifest; then indeed ye follow God your Lord.
Otherwise, there is no soul but worshippeth Me from the beginning to the end of its life, and desireth naught but for My sake, yet all follow their own desires, save those who desire Me in every Revelation according to what I desire. If ye follow, then ye worship God as He willeth; otherwise ye are among the letters of negation, though ye know it not.
Say: Verily, no one shall ever see Me, nor find any path unto Me, except by finding a path unto Him upon Whom We reveal the verses. If ye see Him, then ye have attained unto My presence, even as I have attributed this to Myself, just as I attributed the clay to Myself and made it a House for all the worlds.
Beyond this nothing in creation can be brought into being. Therefore worship God Who created you, sustained you, causeth you to die, giveth you life, and will resurrect you on the Day of Resurrection in truth. He is the Lord of all the worlds. On that Day none shall worship Me save the Essential Letters Seven and whoso believeth in God and then in what hath been sent down from God, for these are they who truly believe. And as for those who merely say with their tongues “Verily, we love God,” they speak not the truth. Say unto all who dwell on earth: If ye love God, then love Me, else ye shall find no path unto the love of God. And if ye desire to follow God, then follow Me, for ye shall find no path unto the Essence of God. And if ye seek God’s good-pleasure, then follow My good-pleasure, for ye shall find no path unto the good-pleasure of God. And if ye desire to attain unto the presence of God, then look ye unto Him Whom God shall make manifest, for ye shall find no path unto the Essence of God save the path unto Him Whom God shall make manifest, whereby ye shall find your path unto God, your Lord.
And as for those whom ye love in the Bayan, this is by God’s command unto him upon whom the Bayan was revealed, if ye be of them who are certain. Follow ye the witnesses of God in the Bayan, or the Letters of the Unity, for thus were ye commanded by the Essence of the Seven Letters, if ye be of them who know. And if ye follow Him upon whom these clear verses have been sent down, then it is Me Whom ye follow. Verily, I am independent of all that hath been or shall be created, but ye are in need of Me in all things. Were ye not to worship Me, ye would be counted among the idolaters in your own eyes.
Ye cannot truly worship Me except by following the Manifestation of My Self in every Dispensation, whereby ye shall find a path thereunto. If ye worship Me according to your desires, then ye are like unto all others on earth—how then can ye judge them with truth, and how shall they enter Paradise? But if ye worship Me according to what I have revealed unto you, then shall ye move within the garden of holiness. On the Day of Resurrection, when I shall manifest My Self, I shall witness whether ye truly worship Me. If ye follow Him unto whom We reveal the verses, then it is Me Whom ye worship. Otherwise, by what We have revealed unto you—a single word—We shall reduce you to your original state. Yet if We reveal unto you a word from Our presence, verily We shall be well-pleased with you.
Then shall ye attain unto every grace from God, and from the beginning that hath no beginning unto the end that hath no end shall ye be sustained in the Most Great Paradise, through your glorification, sanctification, unification and magnification of Me, and your worship of Me. Grieve not any soul in the Bayan, for if ye grieve one who believeth in God, it is as though ye were grieving the Gates of Guidance, and the Gates of Glory, and the Gates of the Primal One, and the Seven Letters, and indeed, it is as though ye were grieving Me. Likewise, if ye bring joy to any soul in the Bayan, it returneth unto Me, as though ye were bringing joy unto Me.
Yet ye follow Me from behind seven veils—they who are God’s witnesses in the Bayan—and without these veils ye follow not. This proceedeth from your lowliness, not your loftiness. But if ye all follow Him Whom God shall make manifest on the Day of Resurrection, then shall ye follow Me without any veil, and then shall ye truly attain unto this bounty. And if ye were to follow what hath been revealed in the Bayan at that time, then would ye be following Me without any veil, though at present ye know it not, but ye shall come to know, though ye shall be powerless.
