BB00215: Ziyarat for the middle night of the month of God
This is a blessed visitation for the night of the mid-month of God unto the Primal Tree and pardon for it and for those who seek shelter in its shade, then mention for Him Whom God shall make manifest:
In the Name of God, the Most Unapproachable, the Most Holy! Glory be unto Thee, O my God! This is a night which Thou hast magnified and exalted and adorned and distinguished and honored through that which Thou hast ordained for it and sent down upon it. Therefore, O my God, bless on this night Thy Tree of Love and every root that hath sprung from that Root, and every branch that hath grown from that Branch, and every twig that hath stemmed from those Twigs, and every leaf that hath resembled those Leaves, and every fruit that hath taken form from those Fruits, from the first moment when Thou didst plant those Trees in the heart of the sign of Thy love, which if Thou shouldst cause to ascend unto the ultimate height of its ascension in the dawning-place of Thy grace and the exaltation of Thy bounty, verily the dwellers of the heaven of Thy dominion would be illumined by the glances of Thy near benevolence, and the essences of the manifestations of Thy oneness would be elevated through the revelations of the wondrous sovereign of Thy Lordship.
Send down, therefore, O my God, upon that Tree in this hour of this night every splendor which Thou hast numbered in Thy knowledge, and every majesty which Thy knowledge hath encompassed, and every beauty wherewith Thou hast adorned Thy Book, and every grandeur which Thou hast numbered by Thy knowledge, and every light which Thou hast ordained by Thy power, and every mercy which Thou hast spread through the munificence of Thy bounty, and every word which hath been sent down from the clouds of the inaccessibility of Thy glory, every name which hath indicated Thee and become established in Thee and goeth not forth from Thee unto aught else, and every might which Thou hast strengthened, and every will which Thou hast embraced, and every knowledge which Thou hast caused to penetrate, and every power which Thou hast manifested, and every utterance which Thou hast loved, and every word wherewith Thou hast been well-pleased, and every sovereignty which Thou hast perpetuated, and every dominion which Thou hast glorified, and every exaltation which Thou hast raised up, and every good which Thy knowledge hath encompassed from before and after, for none can reckon the conditions of Thy Lordship save Thee, and none can comprehend the manifestations of Thy sovereignty save Thee.
Thou art He Who existed before all things, and the Creator of all things, and the Being after all things. Thou hast ever been one God, Single, Eternal, Self-Subsistent, the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining. Thou hast taken unto Thyself neither consort nor son, and nothing is hidden from Thy knowledge, neither in the heavens nor on the earth nor between them, and nothing can frustrate Thee, neither in the kingdom of earth nor of creation nor what lieth beneath them. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful.
Then turn and say: Verily, the Most Holy, Most Resplendent Glory and the Most Impregnable, Most Exalted Grandeur from God, the Lord of the Hereafter and of the former time, be upon thee, O Divine Tree, and Simple Essence, and Pure Camphor, and Eternal Branch, and Camphoric Leaf, and Intended Fruit, so long as the spheres of names revolve in the heaven of the cloud-white realm around the zone of oneness, and the winds of love blow from the holy and glorious horizon of the King of might and eternity. Beyond that is a limit in the Book of God. Exalted is Thine essence above that which is limited by creation should ascend unto Thee, and sanctified is Thy reality that what is determined in invention should rise unto Thee. Therefore upon Thee, never-ceasing and never-ending, be all glory and majesty, all beauty and radiance, all perfection and exaltation, all independence and grandeur, all bounty and praise. Though Thou in Thine essence hast ever been transcendent above that which hath sprung through guidance and been realized through resources, for He ever remembereth Thee, and whom God remembereth, every mention is with Him and in His grasp, and upon whom God bestoweth His blessings, every soul is before Him and in the right hand of His will.
Therefore bear witness, O my Beloved, before God, mighty and glorious, that I have testified that there is no God but Him, alone, there is no God but Him. His is the dominion and the kingdom, power and divinity are His, grandeur and the ruby are His! He giveth life and causeth death; then He causeth death and giveth life. He is the Living One Who dieth not. Within His grasp is the dominion of all things. He createth what He willeth through His command; verily, He hath power over all things.
And further, the Point of the Bayan, represented by the Seven Letters, was before and shall be after, and thou and the Letters of the Living who follow thee are the Names nearest unto Him and the most perfect Symbols in reference to Him. Then whosoever believeth as do believe the leaves of the Tree of Affirmation, these shall abide in the Paradise of eternity, and before God shall they ever be engaged in glorification. And whosoever believeth not in that which is from God, such are created of fire and in it shall they be tormented through God’s justice.
I bear thee witness that I shall love all who love thee and shall be quit of all who love thee not. Thus hath God, my Lord, inspired me on the Day of Resurrection beneath the shadow of the Tree of thy love and certitude in that which God hath ordained for thee and for the sincerity of thy dust. He is the Mighty, the Best-Beloved.
Then turn and say: God hath ever blessed you, O ye sacred Branches, and peace be upon you, O ye shining Stars! Blessed are ye and that which God hath ordained in you of the loftiness of His Cause and the exaltation of His remembrance. He is the All-Compelling, the Self-Subsisting.
Then turn and say: The transcendent, inaccessible and mighty glory and the lofty, sublime and exalted splendor be upon you, O ye sacred spirits, perfected hearts, sanctified souls and purified bodies! Your essential realities, your very beings, your inner selves and your identities have been made good and pure through your turning to God your Lord, your ascension and your rising unto God your Creator. Blessed are ye and that which God hath ordained for you of the exaltation of His remembrance and the sublimity of His praise. He is the All-Compelling, the Best-Beloved.
Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy signs, the most mighty thereof; by Thy glory, the most glorious thereof; by Thy majesty, the most august thereof; by Thy beauty, the most fair thereof; by Thy light, the most luminous thereof; by Thy greatness, the most mighty thereof; by Thy mercy, the most all-embracing thereof; by Thy names, the greatest thereof; by Thy might, the most puissant thereof; by Thy strength, the strongest thereof; by Thy knowledge, the most penetrating thereof; by Thy power, the most potent thereof; by Thy word, the most pleasing unto Thee thereof; by Thy manifestations, the most manifest thereof; by Thy attributes, the most unassailable thereof; by Thy sovereignty, the most enduring thereof; by Thy dominion, the most splendid thereof; by Thy loftiness, the most sublime thereof; and by Thy words, the most attractive in Thy presence, the most guarded with Thee, the most precious in the Mother Book before Thee, and the nearest in the Concourse on high through Thee.
For between Thee and all beside Thee there hath been nothing save that which hath trembled forth from the horizon of the Word of the Dayspring of Thine own Self, and shone from the heaven of the might of Thy Lordship and Thy bounty. Nothing hath been ascribed unto Thee save Thy signs and Thy words; and all that lieth between them—whether of the exalted heights or the lowest depths—is but within their compass.
Send down, then, O my God, at that time, blessings upon Him Whom Thou shalt cause to appear on the Day of Resurrection with clear and manifest signs. Strengthen Him through Thy might; invest Him with Thy sovereignty; uplift Him by Thy exaltation; grant Him victory through Thy power; make Him manifest through Thy Self-Subsisting Being; establish for Him the whole of the earth through Thy strength; and show Him, by Thy all-compelling dominion, that whereunto none can stretch forth his hands, and which lieth beneath His feet. Verily Thou art able to do whatsoever Thou willest, and powerful to accomplish whatsoever Thou desirest.
And send down, O my God, all Thy bounty and Thy munificence upon the heaven of His might and the earth of His love, and upon whatsoever is remembered by His remembrance in the heights of the holiness of His majesty; and upon whatsoever is ascribed unto Him of the affairs of the might of Thy Lordship; and upon him whose very being Thou hast created from the light of His being; and upon all who shall believe in Him and glorify Thee before His presence, by reason of the loftiness of the sovereignty of His Self-Subsisting Being—whether of the former or the latter, the manifest or the hidden—whatsoever Thy knowledge hath encompassed. For nothing escapeth Thy knowledge, neither in the heavens nor on the earth nor whatsoever lieth between them; and Thou art, verily, the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful, the All-Potent.
