In the name of God, the Most Exalted, the Most Holy

Glorified art Thou, O Lord my God! I bear witness, and all things testify, that Thou art God, there is no God but Thee, alone without peer or partner. Thine is the Kingdom and the dominion, the might and the grandeur, the power and the divinity, the force and sovereignty, the strength and the realm of humanity, the glory and the majesty, the countenance and the beauty, the face and the perfection, the greatness and the independence, the inaccessibility and the sublimity, the transience and the self-sufficiency, the power and the deeds, the likeness and similitudes, the grandeur and the pride, the proofs and the names, the glory and the invincibility, the might and the exaltation, the joy and the gladness, the love and detachment. Thine is all that is seen and unseen, from the highest heights to the lowliest atom. All are Thy creation and within Thy grasp. Thou givest life and death, then death and life. Verily Thou art the Ever-Living Who dieth not, the Sovereign Who passeth not away, the Just Who wrongeth not, the Ruler Who changeth not, the Single One from Whose grasp nothing escapeth, whether in the heavens or on earth or between them. Thou createst what Thou willest by Thy command. Verily, Thou art powerful over all things.

From everlasting Thou hast been one God, single, eternal, self-subsisting, living, unchanging, sovereign, supreme, holy, everlasting, eternal, self-dependent, transcendent, inaccessible, sanctified, exalted, unique. Thou hast taken neither consort nor son. Thou hast ever been the Being before all things, the Essence after all things, the Reality with all things, the Creator through all things, and the One above all things. Before Thee bow down in worship all who dwell in the kingdom of Thy earth and heaven, and unto Thee do worship the inhabitants of the kingdom of Thy Cause and glory, and unto Thee are severed the chosen ones of Thy Cause and Thy foes. Thou art the Subduer over all contingent beings, the Manifest above all existing things, the Most Exalted above all who dwell in the kingdoms of earth and heaven, the Most High above all created things, the Most Elevated in all atoms, the Sovereign over all symbols and guidance, the One preeminent over all who dwell in the kingdom of the highest and ultimate ends.

The sweet-scented breezes of Thy holy glory have ever been wafting over them that glorify Thee, and the outpourings of Thy sovereign might have ever been shining upon them that acknowledge Thy unity. Thou hast created all things by Thy power, sustained all things by Thy might, caused all things to die by Thy glory, given life to all things by Thy greatness, and ordained the measures of all things through the wondrous craftsmanship of Thy oneness. Thine is the most exalted elevation, O my God, above every elevation and exaltation, and Thine is the most resplendent sublimity, O my God, above every sublimity and glory. I shall sanctify Thee beyond all that hath sanctified Thee or shall sanctify Thee, and I shall glorify Thee beyond all that hath glorified Thee or shall glorify Thee, and I shall unite Thee beyond all that hath united Thee or shall unite Thee, and I shall magnify Thee beyond all that hath magnified Thee or shall magnify Thee, and I shall exalt Thee according to Thy greatness and loftiness and glory and invincibility.

Thou hast never desired for Thy creation aught save Thy grace, Thy generosity, Thy bounty, Thy kindness and Thy favor. Had Thou desired otherwise, who could have taken shelter beneath Thy shade or found rest in Thy love? Thy favors are more than any can reckon, and Thy blessings more abundant than any can enumerate. Praise be unto Thee, praise radiant and brilliant, sanctified and gleaming, pure and exalted, filling Thy heaven with Thy generosity, Thy earth with Thy bounty, and what lieth between them with Thy kindness, and Paradise with the holy effulgences of the light of Thy countenance, and the fire with what purifieth those therein through the dawning splendors of the sun of Thy forgivingness. Thou art He Whom nothing can comprehend, while Thou comprehendest all things. Thou hast ever been independent of all that hath been or shall be created, and self-sufficient beyond all that hath existed through Thee and by Thee. Thou hast clothed Thy creation in the garments of Thy glory and majesty, that Thy loved ones might sanctify Thee beyond all glory and majesty. And Thou hast attired Thy chosen ones in the garments of glory.

And all praise be unto Thee Who hast purified Thy chosen ones from the sublimity of glory and beauty, and enriched Thy loved ones through Thine Own wealth and self-sufficiency, that they might sanctify Thee beyond mention of holiness and glory. How exalted is Thy grace unto them that praise Thee, Thy generosity unto them that sanctify Thee, and Thy kindness unto them that proclaim Thy transcendent unity! Thou didst create the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them in truth, and didst favor them that know Thee with Thy knowledge. Were it not for Thy making Thyself known unto them, they would be as dead upon Thy earth. Through Thy grace Thou didst deliver Thy chosen ones on the Day of Resurrection; were it not for Thy dealing with them through Thy bounty, who could be saved on that Most Great Day through Thy justice?

Glorified art Thou, O God! Send down, therefore, upon that Name whom Thou hast made to know Thyself, whom Thou hast guided to Thy good-pleasure and Thy Command, that which befitteth the sublimity of Thy holiness and the exaltation of Thy glory. Nothing in the heavens or on earth or in between them can approach Thy knowledge, and naught in the kingdom of command or creation or below them can frustrate Thee. Therefore, O my God, fulfill his needs in this world and the next, for himself and for those who respond through him, in accordance with what Thou lovest and art well-pleased with. Verily, Thou art the All-Powerful, possessed of supreme might, and the Most Exalted, possessed of the Most Great Sign. Thou doest what Thou willest and ordainest what Thou pleasest. Glorified art Thou! There is no God but Thee.

Glorified am I, for I am among those who praise Thee. O God! Inspire him to seek sustenance for his being through the subtle wonders of Thy handiwork and the lofty, impregnable gifts of Thy grace. Verily, Thou hast ever been the Bestower, the Subtle One. Say: God is the Most Praiseworthy, above all who possess praise. None in the heavens or on earth or between them can withhold himself from the dominion of His sovereign praise. He createth what He willeth through His command, for He hath ever been the All-Praising, the Praiser, the All-Praised.
