God cannot be described as being elevated above anything or established upon anything, for what was revealed in the Book from the Loving Friend regarding “He is established upon the throne” meant nothing by “throne” except His knowledge and power, which is His very Self and none other. For were it other than Him, it would necessitate conjunction, while He is exalted above peers and likenesses. He has ever been knowing when there was nothing to be known, and will ever be powerful when there is nothing over which to exercise power.

And sometimes in the usage of the people of infallibility, the station of establishment refers to the station of the manifestation of the divine effulgence to other than Him through other than Him, and it is the station of honorary relationship, where God has related it to Himself as a mark of honor for the one so related and as a bounty from Him upon the one mentioned, just as God says “the Kaaba is the House of God,” and there is no doubt that God is none other than His creation which He has related to Himself so that all His servants might honor it and circumambulate around His loved ones.
