God is Most Great

In the Name of God, the Most Great, Possessor of the greatest ones! In the Name of God, the Most Great, Possessor of the most exalted ones!

Praise be to God for the dawning rays from the morn of eternity and the adorning mention of the First, as befitteth Him and as He deserveth. I have beheld what thou hast composed, and praise be to God for what thou hast achieved. I have answered thee with adorned verses and have ordained for thee what thou didst desire. Therefore may the heart of Muhammad be well-pleased with thee, and thou must observe with utmost vigilance the reflecting mirrors lest His knowledge be encompassed by grief. Thou must assuredly be victorious through God, for He is the best of helpers.

Thou must preserve the mirror of God and cause it to yearn, and thou must assuredly be among God’s helpers. Seek thou tidings about the other mirrors after the first, according to what We have taught thee before, for verily We are powerful. And thou must act according to what hath been mentioned in the Book beforehand. God willing, He shall grant thee relief before long [hin, =68]. Send forth that which hath shone forth from the traces of eternity, for We have ever been among the lovers.
