BB00339: Kitab al-Vahid 16 (Letter to the sixteenth Temple)

This is what We have sent down to the sixteenth Temple. I bear witness that there is no God but Him, the Mighty, the Beloved.

He is

In the Name of God, the Protector, the Mighty.

Say: He Who created the heavens and earth has power over all things, and all return unto Him. He it is Who gives life and causes death, and all are turned unto Him. His is the dominion of the heavens and earth and whatsoever is between them, and all return unto God. He is God, there is no God but Him, before and after, say: all shall be gathered unto Him. And to God belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and earth, and all act by His command. Say: He is the Subduer above His creation, and He is the King, the Trusted, the Eternal. God bears witness that there is no God but Him, say: all bow down before God. He is the One before Whom prostrate themselves whatsoever is in the heavens and earth and whatsoever lies between them, the Mighty, the Holy.

And verily this is an epistle from the letter Tha’ unto the sixteenth Temple, so bear witness that He is the Mighty, the Beloved. He it is in Whose hand is the dominion over all things, and all bow down before Him. He is God, there is no God but Him, before and after, and all shall be raised unto Him. His is whatsoever is in the heavens and earth and whatsoever lies between them, there is no God but Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. Say: He is the Knower before the creation of anything, and He is the All-Knowing, the Teacher of Knowledge. Say: He is the Victorious over all things, before and after, and all stand firm by His command. He is the Powerful over His Cause, and all serve Him. His is the kingdom of the heavens and earth, and all remember Him.

Say: Fear God, O concourse, from the Day when you shall be brought before God. And fear the Day when you shall be present before God. On that Day God will question what you used to do. On that Day God will bear witness to what they earn. Say: The Cause of your Lord has come from God, if you would understand. Say: I am but a man like you, it is revealed to me that I am your Lord—will you not be certain? Say: I have no power except through God, there is no God but Him, the Powerful, the Omnipotent. Say: If you believe in Me and My verses, then you shall attain all good, and if you believe not in Me, you have not believed in any of the Messengers, nor are you God-fearing on that Day.

And you did not follow the Messengers before, nor were you certain of God. Say: I desire naught but good for you—will you not understand? Say: I counsel you from God, your Lord—will you not bow down before God and then remember His verses? Say: I give you glad tidings of the meeting with your Lord, yet few among you are aware. Say: If you believe in Me, you add nothing to My knowledge nor decrease it, and if you deny Me and My verses, you cannot diminish aught from Me nor transgress. Say: I desire naught but good for you, that you might prosper.

Say: The believers are they who circle round about Me—these have degrees from God and these are the successful ones. God will reward them with gardens of eternity for what they have earned, and they shall attain the mercy of their Lord. Say: The polytheists are they who are not certain of My verses, and when they see something they remember not, and they consider it confused dreams, yet they know not. And God will cause them to enter the fire in their life and their death, and they shall not be helped. Say: In this are clear signs from God unto the Glory, the Fruitful, the Witnessed. Bear witness that there is no God but Him, and that Ali before Muhammad was His proof and His light, before and after, and that the guides of the Living One are the letters of His Self, and all act by His command. This Book is the truth wherein is no doubt, a revelation from God, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. His is the kingdom of the heavens and earth and whatsoever lies between them, all stand firm for Him.
