Fifth Prayer
In the Name of God, the King, the All-Encompassing! Glory be to Thee, O my God! I bear witness, and all things bear witness, at this time when the letter Lam is with Thee, as did the ancients testify to Thy Being, that Thou art the Self-Sufficient, as all things are Thine alone with no partner beside Thee. Thou art the Subduer Who cannot be subdued, and the Manifest Who cannot be manifested. All that hath appeared is but creation before Thee, and all that hath been established is as nothing in Thy presence. Thou art the One described through Thy primacy, and known through Thy finality, for Thou art described by Thy Self and known by Thy Self. Verily Thou art the Magnificent One of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them. Thou givest magnificence to whom Thou willest and dost withhold from whomsoever Thou willest, and dost bestow upon whomsoever Thou willest, and art gracious unto whomsoever Thou willest. Within Thy grasp is the kingdom of all things, and Thou art verily the All-Bountiful, the Generous One. He is the Beneficent, the Merciful.
Sixth Prayer
He is God, the Self-Subsisting! Glory be unto Thee, O my God! I testify, together with all things in that circle where Thou hast stationed, at Thy presence, the letter Lam, even as testified the ancients to Thy Being, that Thou art the Self-Sufficient beside Whom there is none else, and Thou art the Sovereign beside Whom there is no sovereign, inasmuch as Thou didst begin all things through Thy Will and didst create all things through Thy Purpose. Verily Thy Being encompasseth all things and Thy Essence transcendeth all things. Thou hast ever, O my God, described Thy Self by Thy Self, and wilt ever, O my Desire, attribute Thy Essence to Thy Essence. All that the knowers know returneth to the ocean of Thy Will, and all that the describers describe entereth into the depths of Thy Purpose.
Thou art the One loved through Thy outward manifestation and desired through Thy inward reality. There is no God but Thee, and verily Thou art the Ancient of the heavens and earth and whatsoever lieth between them. Within Thy grasp are all who dwell in the dominion of all things, and Thou art verily the All-Powerful, the Sovereign One.
Seventh Prayer
In the Name of God, the Mighty, the Hidden! Glory be unto Thee, O my God! I testify, together with all things in that circle where Thou hast stationed, at Thy presence, the letter Ha, even as testified the angels and those endued with knowledge from Thy presence, that Thou art God, there is no God but Thee. From time immemorial, O my God, Thou hast been the Beloved through Thine Essence, and wilt ever remain, O my Desire, the One sought after through Thy sovereignty. No thing can describe Thee as Thou truly art in Thine Essence, nor can any thing know Thee as Thou truly art in Thy Divinity, nor can any thing praise Thee as Thou truly art in Thy Sanctity.
For Thou, O my God, hast made me the Dayspring of Thy holiness, the Setting-place of Thy self-subsistence, the Rising-point of Thy pristine nature, the Source of Thine eternity, and the Manifestation of Thine everlastingness. I testify that Thou art God, there is no God but Thee, and verily Thou art the Eternal One of the heavens and earth and whatsoever lieth between them. Thou hast taken unto Thyself neither minister nor partner. All knowers are bereft of mentioning any sign from among the signs of Thy countenance, and all who would remember Thee are turned back from describing any trait from among the traits of Thy face. Verily Thou, O my God, art the One described by the heavens and earth and whatsoever lieth between them. Thou dost bestow pre-existence upon whomsoever Thou willest, and dost begin the Cause with whomsoever Thou willest, and dost return the Cause to whomsoever Thou willest. Within Thy grasp is the kingdom of all things, and Thou art verily the Powerful, the Mighty, the Omnipotent.

There is no God but Thee. Thou art praised in Thy deeds and thanked in Thy works. If Thou shouldst chastise me, Thou art the Merciful; and if Thou shouldst forsake me, Thou art not unjust.
Glory be to Thee! There is no God but Thee. I know Thee, yet cannot truly know Thee; I describe Thee, yet cannot truly describe Thee. Glory be to Thee! There is no God but Thee, and Thou art the Glory of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them. Thou bestowest beauty upon whomsoever Thou willest, and takest it away from whomsoever Thou willest. Thou clothest with majesty whomsoever Thou willest, and adornest whomsoever Thou willest. In Thy hand are all who dwell in the dominion of command and creation, and Thou art, in truth, powerful over all things and all-encompassing.

Thou didst say, and Thy word is the truth: “I have not created creation except that they may worship Me.” Thou knowest, O my God, what the people have wrought against Thy chosen ones, and what Thy servants have done against those with whom Thou art well-pleased.
By Thy right, O my God, I have witnessed what the ancients witnessed, and what the sincere ones have not seen. Thou art the Helper of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever lieth between them. Thou givest victory unto whomsoever Thou willest, and takest it away from whomsoever Thou willest. Thou helpest whomsoever Thou willest, and forsakest whomsoever Thou willest. Thou givest knowledge unto whom Thou willest and withholdest knowledge from whom Thou willest, and Thou exaltest whom Thou willest and abaseth whom Thou willest. Within the grasp of Thy power are all who dwell in the dominion of command and creation. Verily Thou art powerful and knowing.
Seventeenth Prayer
In the Name of God, the Mighty, the Kind! Glory be unto Thee, O my God! I and all things in the circle of that which was with Thee have testified to Thy Being—that verily Thou art God, the Living One, Whom nothing in the heavens or earth or whatsoever is between them can suffice, and Thou sufficest all things through Thy bounty, preservest all things through Thy grace, showest mercy unto all things through Thy favor, art kind unto all things through Thy generosity, and bestowest upon all things through Thy beneficence. Thou art the Beneficent through Thy power, Thou art the Ever-Living through Thy divinity, Thou art the All-Bountiful through Thy glory, and Thou art the Beauteous through Thy sovereignty. Never hath the cause of Thy beneficence, O my God, been other than Thy beneficence, and never will the cause of Thy favors, O my Lord, be other than Thy favors. Verily, Thou art the Beautifier of the heavens and earth and whatsoever lieth between them. Thou givest beauty unto whomsoever Thou willest, Thou causest to ascend by Thy command whomsoever Thou willest, and Thou causest to descend through Thy justice whomsoever Thou willest. Within Thy grasp of power lieth the essence of all things, and verily Thou art the All-Powerful, the All-Bountiful.
Eighteenth Prayer
In the Name of the All-Compassing King! Glorified art Thou, O my God! I bear Thee witness—and with me beareth witness every thing within the precinct where I was with Thee, the Letter Dal—that Thy good-pleasure hath testified to Thy Ipseity: that Thou art the Being “before the before” of aught that is, and Thou art the Existence “after the after” of aught that may be. Thou hast ever been known through the manifestations of Thy Ipseity, and Thou wilt forever be described by the concealments of Thy Lordship. For, O my God, no thing hath known Thee, nor doth any thing know Thee. The knowers are abased from comprehending a single sign of Thy Divinity; the wayfarers are humbled from attaining even one mode of the firmaments of Thy Lordship.
I implore Thy forgiveness, O my God, with the tongue of all things, before the Countenance of Thy Selfhood; for Thou art He Who forgiveth whomsoever Thou wilt by Thy bounty, and showest mercy upon whomsoever Thou wilt by Thy grace. I entreat Thee—and with me all things entreat—that by Thy munificence and favour Thou wilt forgive those who are in the Bayan, and that Thou wilt bring them into the presence of Him Whom Thou hast made manifest on the Day of Resurrection—prostrate before Thy Self, standing by Thy command, humble at Thy Threshold, and lowly before Thy Presence. Verily, Thou art the Judge of the heavens and the earth and of whatsoever lieth between them. Thou bestowest authority upon whom Thou wilt and takest away authority from whom Thou wilt; Thou forgivest whom Thou wilt and enrichest whom Thou wilt. In Thy hand is the kingdom of all things, and Thou art indeed Beautiful and Mighty.
Nineteenth Prayer
In the Name of God, the Mighty, the All-Noble. Glorified art Thou, O my God! I bear Thee witness—and with me beareth witness every thing within the precinct where I was with Thee, the Letter Sin—that Thy choosing for Thy very Self hath testified that Thou art God; there is no God but Thee. Never hast Thou ceased to manifest Thyself unto all created things through the signs of Thy creation, and never wilt Thou cease to manifest Thyself unto all beings through the words of Thy invention. Thou art He Who ordaineth whatsoever He willeth through His command and doeth whatsoever He willeth through His decree. Verily, Thou art the Chosen One above Thy servants and the Almighty above Thy creation.
Thou hast never ceased nor wilt Thou ever cease to be powerful over all things and sovereign over all things, while all worship Thy countenance, prostrate themselves before Thy presence, remember Thy Self, and give thanks for Thy favors. Yet, O my God, Thy Cause is too exalted and glorious for the understanding of any to comprehend. Verily Thou, O my God, knowest what they have done unto Thy servants and witnesseth what hath befallen Thy chosen ones—how they have been made to suffer what they have suffered and have done what they have done. By Thy right, O my God, verily Thou art the Possessor of supreme power and mighty dominion. Thou seizest through Thy justice whomsoever Thou willest and strikest with Thy vengeance whomsoever Thou willest.
Verily, Thou art the Avenger of the heavens and earth and whatsoever lieth between them. Thou givest power to strike unto whomsoever Thou willest, withdrawest such power from whomsoever Thou willest, seizest through Thy justice whomsoever Thou willest, and thereafter punisheth through Thy wrath whomsoever Thou willest. In the grasp of Thy power are the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is between them. There is no God but Thee. Verily, Thou hast ever been Most Mighty, Most August, Most Great.
This supplication is to be recited after each daily prayer, that all may verily be numbered among those who remember in the Mother Book:

There is no God but Thee. Thou bestowest sovereignty upon whom Thou wilt and takest away sovereignty from whom Thou wilt; Thou enrichest whom Thou wilt and impoverishest whom Thou wilt; Thou exaltest whom Thou wilt. By Thy command Thou joinest the night to the day, and by Thy decree Thou joinest the day to the night. By Thy Will Thou bringest forth the living from the dead, and bringest forth the dead from the living. By Thy tenderness Thou makest whom Thou wilt male, and by Thine eternity makest whom Thou wilt female, and by Thy holiness makest whom Thou wilt barren. Verily, Thy mercy hath encompassed whoso is in the heavens and on the earth, and Thou, in very truth, art Powerful over all things.
