BB00193: Mina’z-Zahiri fi’l-Mir’at

Verily I am God, there is no God except Me, the Sovereign, the Omnipotent. I have created all things by My command, and I have ever been a triumphant Helper. We have sent thee, O Thou Ancient Praise, from Our presence, and We have made thee a diffused praise for what I have created and will create, that all may be illumined by My light, and that through thee all may become prostrate servants of My truth, and that through thee all may aid the Cause of truth, and that thou mayest be, in the days of God, a helper among the helpers, and that all may testify to the power of their Lord, that there is no God but I, Who have ever been omnipotent over all things.

Thus do We create what We will, and We have ever been powerful over all things. And thus do We reveal unto the heart of whomsoever We will, and We have ever been knowledgeable of all things. God beareth witness that there is no God but He, and all that hath been created and will be created testifieth as God hath testified that there is no God but I, the Protector, the Self-Subsisting.

O all things! Enter ye into the religion of God and be ye in the paths of God like pieces of precious ruby, exalted and inaccessible, whose beauty nothing in the heavens and earth and what lieth between them can equal, if ye be servants of God. Be ye illumined by the light of God, and present yourselves before God, and desire to be upright before God, and bear witness within yourselves that this is a servant in God’s dominion who hath believed in God and His signs, and who was in the Mother Book a victorious servant. God aideth whom He willeth with His help; verily He hath ever been the Helper, the Succourer.

God beareth witness that there is no God but He, and that this is God’s servant from time immemorial and unto eternity, and hath been a prostrate servant of God, and what God hath revealed is that this was a servant to be prostrated before—He desired to inform all just as they prostrate themselves upon the clay by God’s command, whereupon all become prostrate before the All-Merciful, even though they prostrate upon clay which itself is prostrated before. However, nothing prostrates except before God, nor is that clay intended; rather, prostration is unto God Who created the heavens and earth and what lieth between them, then that clay, and made it by His command an object of prostration for all the worlds when He desired to command it thus, for He hath ever been powerful over all things. Otherwise, before they are commanded concerning it, all according to what is ordained from His presence shall know and judge.

O all things! Hearken unto what that Bird singeth unto thee upon the Tree of Glory, for verily We have been revealers that it might speak with the tongue of God that there is no God but I, Who have ever been the Lord of all the worlds. It speaketh naught except from God, its Lord. In mirrors ye observe how they tell of the sun, wherein nothing is seen in the mirrors except what is reflected therein through itself, by itself, that there is no God but I, the Lord of all the worlds. O Thou Eternal Letter! All that thou hast uttered hath flowed from the tongue of all things, for We created thee in the likeness wherein We had known thee through Our Name, the All-Glorious, the Most Splendid, the Most Beauteous.

Say: O all things! There is no God but God, and verily I am the first of them that worship. God hath created me by His command and hath inspired me by His leave with whatsoever He willeth. Verily, He is the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful. I shall assuredly, through what God hath taught my heart of His words, aid the true Faith from His presence. Will ye not, in the days of God, render thanks?

Say: I have not learned as ye learn, nor do I know what ye know, but God hath revealed Himself unto me through my own self, and hath caused me to speak by His leave that there is no God but I, the Mighty, the Well-Beloved. This is of God’s bounty unto me and unto those who give thanks for what God hath vouchsafed unto me.

If ye imagine that ye have acquired in the proofs of God’s Name what ye imagine, God hath caused me to speak that ye may be convinced that the proofs of God are, in God’s sight, beloved, and that I am the resting-place of a letter from among the letters of the First in the Book. God hath given me life after ye had gained concerning me what ye know. Exalted are His verses!

I am God, there is no God but I. We have sent down these verses that this Bird may be moved in the time when it soareth in the atmosphere of the cloud and wingeth its flight in the sanctified realm of glory, as a bounty in the Book. Verily, We are the Bestower.

Verily, I have been supreme above every almighty one in My might, and I have been, over all things, all-powerful, omnipotent, and mighty. Therefore recognize ye the worth of God’s days, and place ye the fruit upon its tree that God may nurture it from His presence. He is the best of nurturers.

Say: The likeness of the creation of your souls is as the likeness of what groweth in the earth. How do ye preserve it until there cometh forth from the earth a tender shoot? Then, when days pass over it and ye nurture it, it reacheth a station wherein fruits appear. Thus do ye witness in every Revelation the creation of your souls like unto this.

Verily, David did sow in the days of His Revelation that which was revealed unto Him in the Psalms, and caused to grow in His Revelation a tender and well-beloved growth which God nurtured through what He had ordained in that Revelation until those souls bore fruit in the Revelation of Moses – all were believers in Him.

Likewise did Moses sow what God revealed unto Him in the Torah in the essences of those unto whom He revealed Himself through His Own Manifestation, and He caused to grow from the earth in His Revelation a verdant and well-beloved growth which God nurtured through what He had ordained in that Revelation until God made manifest Jesus, whereupon they believed in Him. These were the fruits that were borne from what Moses had sown in the worlds.

Then Jesus did sow in the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what lieth between them through what God revealed unto Him in the Gospel, and caused to grow in His Revelation a tender and glorious growth which God nurtured over the space of two hundred years until He made manifest Muhammad, the Apostle of God, from His presence, whereupon they believed in Him. This was what bore fruit from the sowing of Jesus. Thus do ye witness in every Revelation.

And Muhammad, the Apostle of God, did sow through what God revealed unto Him in the Qur’an whatsoever God willed in that day, and caused to grow in His Revelation a garden of glorious love which God nurtured during the years of its infancy through the angels of the heavens and earth and all that lieth between them. They are those who believe in the Point of the Bayan. These are the fruits borne of what Muhammad, the Apostle of God, did sow – verily We were cognizant thereof.

Before the setting of the sun, all who enter the Bayan are fruits of what was grown in the Furqan. O people of the Furqan! Ye manifest the fruits of your own selves. Verily We have sown throughout the creation of the heavens and earth and whatsoever lieth between them through the love of God and His good-pleasure. These verdant growths doth God nurture in that Revelation as He willeth, until they present themselves before Him Whom God shall make manifest, believing in Him with certitude.

O people of the Bayan! After God hath placed within you the love of Him Whom God shall make manifest and His good-pleasure, be not veiled from the fruits of your own selves. Then on the Day of Resurrection shall ye all, O people of the Bayan, be presented before Him. Then shall ye appear with forms like unto radiant temples before Him Whom God shall make manifest, prostrating yourselves and aiding the Cause of God.

Thus in every Revelation do We sow, and the fruits of what We sow are made manifest in a subsequent Revelation. Verily, the people of all Revelations, from a beginning that hath no beginning unto an end that hath no end, do manifest their fruits in every Resurrection, and before that, they strive to exalt the Cause of God according to their capacity.

O ye who are endowed with the divine attributes, from a beginning that hath no beginning unto an end that hath no end! The fruits of your own selves are made manifest in every Resurrection before God. This is what appeareth before the throne of God’s Revelation in every Manifestation and the seat of God’s concealment in every dispensation.

O ye who are the possessors of thrones and seats! Ye are all being nurtured according to that for which ye were created.
