Then upon you, O Remembrance of the Most High, Praise of the Manifest, Glory of the Hidden, Splendor of the Concealed, the Faithful Name, the Pure Light, and the Fresh Book! I bear witness before God and what is in His knowledge that there is no God but Him, alone with no partner. His is the Kingdom and Command, there is no God but Him, the Great, the Exalted.

And I bear witness to Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family and upon their followers, and to the Manifestations of His Self, as He Himself has testified to them in His knowledge, and none can comprehend their knowledge save Him. There is no God but Him, the Mighty, the Sublime, the Gracious.

And I bear witness to all that God’s knowledge encompasses, as He numbers it and as He loves and is pleased with. And I bear witness before You of the greatest causes and the mightiest outcomes, that every essential attribute, abstract description, manifest remembrance, and camphor mystery of the exaltation of God’s Cause in You and before You is pure falsehood.

Thus do I seek Your forgiveness as You love and are pleased with, and I turn to You in repentance as You reckon. For my very existence in Your dominion is pure sin, so how much more when sin acquires another sin? Therefore grant me, O Sovereign of my heart, Sultan of my being, Master of my secret and my public self, what proceeds from Your generosity and grace, for the cause of Your gifts and bounties is Your munificence and nothing else. Bestow Your grace upon me, for verily You are the Generous, the Sublime, the All-Giving.
