In the Name of God, the Most Unapproachable, the Most Holy
Glorified art Thou, O Lord! I bear witness, as doth every created thing, that Thou art God, and there is none other God but Thee, alone with no partner. Thine is the creation and the command, from the past and unto the future. Thou givest life and death, then death and life, and verily Thou art the Ever-Living Who dieth not, the Sovereign Who passeth not away, the Just Who wrongeth not, the Ruler Who changeth not, and the Single One from Whose grasp escapeth not a thing, whether in the heavens or on the earth or between them. Thou createst what Thou willest by Thy command. Verily, Thou art powerful over all things.
Thou hast ever been, O my God, existent before all things, an Entity above all things, a Creator with all things, and a Being after all things. All within the kingdom of the heavens and earth and whatsoever is between them glorify Thee, the kingdoms of command and creation and whatsoever is beneath them praise Thee, all things testify to Thy oneness through their very being, all things magnify Thee through their essence, and all from the heights to the lowest atom exalt Thee through their reality. Thou art the Subduer Who cannot be subdued, the Vanquisher Who cannot be vanquished, the Manifest Who cannot be manifested, the Inaccessible and Exalted Who cannot be surpassed. Thou hast ever been one God, Single, Eternal, Self-Subsisting, Living, Self-Sustaining, All-Wise, Just, Holy, Everlasting, Eternal, Who hath taken neither consort nor son.
I bear witness unto Thee concerning what hath been mentioned of him behind the Book of his brother from the land of Qaf, as hath been witnessed before Thee. Therefore, O God, shower upon him from Thy grace and mercy, Thy bounty and generosity, and Thy gift that which befitteth the sublimity of Thy holiness and the exaltation of Thy grace, for there existeth not in Thy knowledge nor in Thy creation any excellence like unto Thy remembrance of him and mention of Thy good-pleasure with him in Thy words. This is a glory the like of which Thou hast not created, nor fashioned its likeness, for those who know Thee. For all remember Thee—accept Thou from them—and all act for Thy good-pleasure, yet none hath known the stations of Thy good-pleasure and witnessed the dawning-places of Thy remembrance and splendor save him upon whom Thou hast bestowed all Thy grace on the Day of Resurrection before all Thy creation until another resurrection from Thy presence.
Therefore, O God, send down upon the letters of his name—he who is remembered by his traced name and he who is remembered by the name of him who came after among the ancients—all Thy grace and mercy. Verily, Thou art the Praised, the Beneficent, the Intended, the Beautiful, the Beloved, the Gracious. Creation is Thy creation and command is from Thee and unto Thee alone. There is no God but Thee. Glorified art Thou, that there is no God but Thee. Glory be unto Thee! Verily, I am of those who glorify Thee.
