BB00574: Ziyarat Imam Husayn (Siyyidu’sh-Shuhada)

He is the Most High, the Supreme, the Most Exalted

The peace of God, the One, the Single, be upon thee, O thou just and beloved Sovereign and noble and exalted King, and upon Muhammad and Ali and Fatima and Hassan and the Imams, and upon thee, O thou whose praise is too lofty to be extolled by any save thyself, and whose glory is too great to be described by any except thee.

I seek thy forgiveness for mentioning aught beside thee, and I turn unto thee in repentance for praising any other than thee. I bear witness before God and those whom He loveth to that which He loveth and is pleased with. Thou seest my station and bearest witness unto me from the throne of thy glory. Therefore, through thy grace and bounty and favor and mercy, cause for me the means of destiny and the spheres of divine decree to turn, for verily Thou art the All-Bountiful, the All-Giving.

O King of all, through Thy justice all things are brought to naught, and through Thy grace all things are brought into being. Grant me that which doth not diminish Thee, and bestow upon me that which profiteth Thee not. Verily Thou art the All-Bountiful, the Most High.
