BB00528: Letter to Mulla ’Abdu’l-Karim Qazvini
In the Name of God, the Most Generous, the Lord of the Generous Ones
In the Name of God, the Most Generous, the Lord of the Bountiful Ones
O My Name! It hath brought Me joy that in the eternal mirrors thou hast spoken of God thy Lord and guided others unto God thy Creator. All praise be unto Him Who manifesteth, as befitteth Him and as He deserveth. Thou hast shown the utmost care, first in preserving it and second in thy eagerness and joy concerning it, such that not even a trace of sorrow should touch thy harmonious heart due to the mention of contingent beings.
How excellent that thou shouldst bring into being and send five adorned Tablets of His traces in beautiful handwriting with the utmost joy and fragrance, and show the utmost care in preserving the traces of God, both those of old and those newly revealed.
Thou hast mentioned in the Tablets the conditions of the goodly fruit. May God assist you thereby, for He is the Best of Helpers from ancient times. Guard all that hath been sent down from God as thou wouldst guard thine own eyes, at all times, before all times, and after all times.
And if Ali is there with thee, mention him with the fruit, that he may behold, through God’s command, the mirrors of God and His countenance, for verily We are ever watchful. And present before God that which hath been raised up unto God as a remembrance from God in the Book, for He is the Best of Rememberers.
