To the brother of the Fruit [fruit = Mirza Yahya], upon them both be all glory [Baha’] from the Lord of Might.

God is Most Manifest.

God beareth witness that there is none other God but Him. His is the Kingdom and the Dominion, then the Glory and the Might, then the Power and the Divinity, then the Strength and the Splendor, then the Sovereignty and the Realm of Creation. He giveth life and causeth death, then causeth death and giveth life. Verily He is the Ever-Living Who dieth not, and the King Who passeth not away, and the Just One Who wrongeth not, and the Sovereign Who changeth not, and the Single One from Whose grasp nothing escapeth, whether in the heavens or on the earth or in what lieth between them. He createth what He willeth by His command. Verily He hath power over all things.

Praise be to God for that which hath shone forth, as befitteth Him and is His due. From the Element of Abha, tablets inscribed by Yahya have been observed, which were manifested from the essence of rapture and pure attraction. Thanks be unto Him Who revealed them, glorified and exalted be He.

Perfect tranquility in spirit and repose hath been intended for him, that the eastern winds might not settle upon his heart, and the means of encouragement in writing and composition have been prepared for him in a perfect manner, that he might never witness any sorrow, neither secretly nor openly. And perfect protection hath been maintained regarding his rights and his treasured writings, until your own time. And God is with the patient ones.
