Glorified art Thou, O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Name through which Thou hast manifested Thyself unto all things [in the heavens] and through which Thou hast revealed the signs of Thy power in […] and the conditions […] in the kingdom of creation, to assist Thy servants with the waters which Thou hast caused to flow from the clouds of Thy mercy and the heaven of Thy grace, that they may turn unto Thee with purified hearts, sanctified souls, attentive ears, illumined breasts and submissive necks. Then gather them, O my God, beneath the shadow of Thy loving-kindness and bounty, and protect them from the evil of those who have forgotten Thy Most Exalted Remembrance. Grant them the good of this world and the next.

Verily, Thou art the One Who hath power over whatsoever Thou willest, and Thou art the Protector, the Self-Subsisting. O my God! Deprive them not of the wondrous dawning rays of the sun of Thy oneness in Thy verses, and cast them not out from the vicinity of Thy mercy and benevolence. Thou didst create them for the recognition of Thyself and certitude in the Manifestation of Thy Cause. Therefore, O my God, enable them lest they be deprived of that for which they were created. Sprinkle upon their souls from the Sweet Living Waters that they may arise from the slumber of heedlessness and desire, and turn toward the direction of Thy Cause, O Thou in Whose hand is the Kingdom of names and the Dominion of attributes, and that they may circle round Thee and drink from the Salsabil of Thy gifts and the breezes of Thy bounty, O Thou Who art the Physician of the hearts of them that long for Thee, and the Companion of the distressed, and the Beloved of the hearts of them that know Thee.

Prayer for protection

  1. Unto God belongeth the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. His is the Greatness and the Majesty, the Glory and the Praise. He assisteth whom He willeth through the hosts of the unseen and the seen, and protecteth whom He willeth through the sovereignty of His Will and Purpose. None can prevent His decree, and none can stay His Purpose. He hath ordained in the Kingdom of destiny for His servants what He hath willed, and sendeth down upon them in due measure. No vision can grasp Him, but He graspeth all vision. Within His grasp is the Kingdom of Power and Might, and the Dominion of Glory and Choice. There is no God but He, the Almighty, the All-Glorious, the All-Compelling. Every atom in all times proclaimeth that sovereignty in the Book of Bounty belongeth unto God, the Almighty, the All-Subduing.

He is the All-Merciful, He is the Most Merciful, He is the Most Glorious, He is the Most Beautiful, He is the Protector, He is the Helper, He is the All-Knowing, He is the All-Informed, He is the Giver, He is the Generous, He is the Mighty, He is the Most High, He is the Defender, He is the All-Sufficient, He is the Ever-Abiding, He is the Kind, He is the Compassionate, He is the Intended One, He is the Worshipped One.
