God beareth witness that there is none other God but He. Thou art He, and all, through Thy command, do labour and act; all, from Thy bounty, do ask and beg.

Thine is the majesty and the beauty; Thine is the grace and the justice; Thine is the might and the good-pleasure.

Glorified art Thou! There is none other God but Thee. Verily, I am of those who prostrate themselves before Thee.

Thou art He, O my God and my Lord. Thou dost behold what lieth within my inmost being and knowest what is hidden in my soul.

Glorified art Thou! There is none other God but Thee. My sole desire, in Thy holy land, is the exaltation of Thy decree, the diffusion of Thy Cause, and the perfection of Thy handiwork.

No hope have we save Thee. Do Thou, then, succour us with the hosts of Thy might, O Thou Beloved of the worlds, and strengthen us by Thy victory, O Thou Desire of them that truly know.

I call Thee to witness that Thou art the True One; there is none other God but Thee. Verily, I am of those who worship Thee.

I entreat Thee, by Thy Face, the Countenance of bounty and favour; Thou, verily, art the All-Bountiful, the All-Generous.

O my God and my Reckoner! Naught do I seek but that I may cause the days of Thy Revelation to be made manifest in every condition through the tongue of Thine own Being, and that my breast may be expanded for Thy sake.

Thou art, in truth, the Lord of surpassing grace.

I call Thee to witness, and those who are in Thy presence among the witnesses, that Thou art God, there is none other God but Thee. Glorified art Thou! Verily, I am of those who bring victory to Thy Cause.

O Lord, strengthen me, through Thy command, at all times, with the portion of Thy good-pleasure; for Thou art God; there is none other God but Thou. Verily, I am among those who seek, from Thee, intercession and acceptance,

that Thou mayest have mercy upon Thy servants and aid them with the armies of Thy might in every affair. Thou, verily, art the Ancient, the All-Bountiful.

Glorified art Thou! There is none other God but Thou. Verily, I am of those who supplicate.

O my God, have mercy upon Thy loved ones, and deliver them from the hands of the enemies of Thy Self; for Thou art God; there is none other God but Thou. Verily, I am of those who fear Thee.

O my God and my Beloved! Behold how the hearts are straitened. Thou art, in truth, O God, the Beloved of them that know.

Aid, then, Thy loved ones in every condition; for Thou art the best of helpers from time immemorial. There is none other God but Thee.

Verily, I am before Thee a bondsman lowly and submissive.

I call Thee to witness, by Thine own testimony before all things, that Thou art God; there is none other God but Thou. Glorified art Thou! Verily, I am of those who prostrate themselves before Thee.

O my Beloved! Now that the days are radiant with the signs of the manifestation of Thy Will, I entreat Thee for victory in every affair, through what Thou hast sent down in Thy Book as a promise unto us of the succour of the believers.

O my Reckoner! How shall I make mention of Thee after what hath been wrought by the enemies of Thy Self—all that hath been wrought?

Thou, O my Beloved, hast repaired all with Thy forbearance and hast veiled all with Thy patience.

Tear away the veils, then, O my Lord, that the letters may behold Thee made manifest, be drawn directly unto Thee with their very eyes, and arise to aid Thee by the power of Thy Will for ever.

For Thou, verily, art He—there is none other God but Thou. Thine is the bounty and the overflowing grace; Thine is the ascendancy and the justice.

Thou beholdest what descendeth upon Thy loved ones and knowest what, in every state, befalleth the Manifestation of Thy Will.

Verily, my Lord art Thou; verily, my Beloved art Thou; verily, my Hope art Thou; verily, my Shelter art Thou.

O attraction of my being! How shall I mention Thee, seeing that the ocean of remembrance surgeth from Thy very Countenance, and all description is cut off from Thy Face?

Glorified art Thou! There is none other God but Thou. Verily, Thou art my Helper; verily, Thou art my Desire.

And Thou, O my Reckoner, knowest my secret and beholdest my station. No aim have I, in any matter, save Thee.

O my Beloved, make haste to shed abroad the radiance of Thy Will, and let praise, in every condition, be the tokens of Thy drawing-power, that thereby hearts may be moved to Thy command, may champion Thy Cause with a true and perfect victory, and may behold naught save Thee as existing.

Thou art, O my Beloved, the Fashioner of my nature and the King of my inmost being.

Have mercy, then, upon Thy loved ones through Thy bounty, and grant victory unto Thy chosen ones through Thy grace.

Thou, verily, art He—there is none other God but Thou—powerful to do whatsoever Thou willest, and ready to answer, hearing and responsive.

For Thou art the True One; there is none other God but Thou. Verily, I am of those who are humble before Thee.

All bounty is Thine, O Thou Beloved of the worlds.

O my God, my Lord, and my Beloved! Thou art He Who subdueth every soul according to the plane of its selfhood by Thy decree, Who maketh its nature to gleam with the light of Thy working, Who suppresseth its inmost reality by Thy command, and Who causeth its “I-ness” to be uprooted by the mystery of Thyself. There is none other God but Thou.

I beseech Thee, then, O my Lord, at the dawning of Thy Self-Subsistence, to have mercy upon me through Thy bounty, to upraise me through Thy command, and to succour me in every condition by the encompassing power of Thy Will and by the descent of Thy Spirit upon Thy loved ones.

Thou, O my God—by Thy primordial right, by Thy mighty secret, by Thy radiant light, by Thy resplendent countenance, by Thy lofty decree—behold, I have no beloved but Thee, and for me Thy Messenger is my well-beloved.

I entreat Thee for victory and for joy at all times, through the sending down of tranquillity upon the hearts of the pure.

Glorified art Thou, glorified art Thou! Thou dost witness what I have inscribed, and Thou, of a certainty, knowest whatsoever I have revealed.

Naught that is in the heavens or on the earth is, in Thy knowledge, hidden from Thee. Thou sufficest for every thing, and nothing is concealed from Thee.

O Lamp (of the world)! I call upon Thee by that which Thou didst send down aforetime: “Call upon Me, and I will answer you.”

Lo, here am I, calling upon Thee according to that by which Thou hast inspired me, and beseeching Thee to aid us in every affair, that, through that very aid, we may champion Thy Cause on earth, avenge the wrongs done unto Thee by Thine enemies, and utterly abase every rebellious soul by Thy might, and silence all by Thy command.

Glorified art Thou, glorified art Thou! Art Thou not, indeed, the One most meet to show mercy unto Thy loved ones? Art Thou not, indeed, the One most meet to bestow Thy favour upon Thy chosen ones?

Glorified art Thou! There is none other God but Thou. I beseech Thee for pardon, that thereby Thy sovereignty may be exalted, the beauty of Thy Self-Subsistence shine forth, and the lights of Thy absolute oneness flare up with exceeding splendour. There is none other God but Thou.

O my Beloved, upraise us through Thy command, expand our breasts through the signs of Thy proof, draw us unto the carpet of the holiness of Thy Being, and aid us at all times through the descent of the reinforcements of Thy wisdom. There is none other God but Thou.

In Thy hand is the Kingdom of the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Thou dost aid whomsoever Thou willest with Thine hosts, and dost confirm whomsoever Thou willest with Thy victory.

Thine is the bounty and the grace: Thou bestowest upon whomsoever Thou willest, whatsoever Thou willest, as Thou willest. There is none other God but Thou. Verily, I am of those who worship Thee.

O my God, Thou knowest that I have willed, in no affair, aught save servitude unto Thee. Glorified art Thou! There is none other God but Thou. Verily, I am of those who make mention of Thee.

I call Thee to witness that Thou art the Lord; there is none other God but Thou. None, beside Thee, in all the worlds, is for ever abiding and enduring.

O my God and my Beloved! Thou knowest my secret and beholdest my station, and I summon Thy servants to naught save lowliness before Thy Being.

There is none other God but Thou. Glorified art Thou! Verily, I am of those who prostrate themselves before Thee.

I beseech Thee, then, for victory through Thy bounty; for Thou art the best of helpers. And praise be unto Thee in the heavens and on the earth, then in all the worlds.

In Thee have I sought intercession; in Thee have I sought exaltation; in Thee have I sought extension (of capacity); in Thee have I sought endurance; in Thee have I sought to be enkindled; in Thee have I sought steadfast protection; in Thee have I sought to be loosed from all bonds; in Thee have I sought that all things be made subservient unto Thy Cause; in Thee have I sought perfection.

There is none other God but Thou. Verily, I am of those who remember Thee.

And praise be unto Thee, in the beginning and in the end, and in the number of all things. Thou, verily, art God, the Beloved of them that truly know.
