In the Name of God, the Most Unapproachable, the Most Holy

O God, send Thy blessings upon the Essence of the Seven Letters, then upon the Primary Letters through dominion and kingdom. O God, send Thy blessings upon the Essence of the Seven Letters, then upon the Primary Letters through proofs and splendor.

Glory be unto Thee, O my God! This is the Day of Friday, therefore send down upon the First Unity, and upon that which Thy knowledge hath encompassed like unto that Unity, for verily Thou art … of all things and … of all things and … of all things and its sovereignty, and the Fashioner of all things and its purpose. Thou hast ever been, existing before all things, and wilt ever be, existing after all things. I testify that Thou wert an Essence with all things and a Being above all things. All shall glorify Thee according to their capacity, all shall sanctify Thee according to their capacity, all shall unite Thee according to their capacity, all shall magnify Thee according to their capacity, all shall exalt Thee according to their capacity, all shall prostrate before Thee according to their capacity, all shall worship Thee according to their capacity, all shall thank Thee according to their capacity, all shall remember Thee according to their capacity, and all shall praise Thee according to their capacity.

All things have prostrated themselves before the majesty of Thy holy oneness, and all things have bowed down before the dominion of Thy glorious singleness. Thou art He Who hath clothed Thy loved ones in the garments of Thy love and affection, and thus hast Thou bestowed upon them Thy paradise. And Thou art He Who hath offered the garment of Thy love to those who are not among Thy glorifiers, as a manifestation of Thy richness and a perfection of Thy favors. Therefore, clothe not him who hath veiled himself from Thy presence, and thus hast Thou veiled from him Thy fire.

I beseech Thee, O my God, in this hour, to send down upon the Tree of Thy love—from its root, branch, twigs, leaves, and fruits—that which befitteth the loftiness of Thy holiness and the sublimity of Thy bounty, and that Thou mayest rend asunder him who hath not entered therein, who hath not prostrated before Thee, and who believeth not in Thy signs, until no trace of him remaineth upon the earth. Verily, Thou art powerful over all things. Or transform his fire into Thy light by guiding him to Thy religion, for all seek Thy good-pleasure. Verily, Thou art the Bestower, the Most Exalted, the Great.

The glory [baha’] from God, and from every one that hath believed in God and in His signs–be upon you, O ye ten Letters, and upon all who, together with you, have ascended unto God, whether of those that are of the former or of the latter, the manifest or the hidden. God hath ever been sending down upon you, from every glory the most glorious thereof; from every majesty the most majestic thereof; from every beauty the most beauteous thereof; from every greatness the most great thereof; from every light the most luminous thereof; from every mercy the most all-embracing thereof; from every word the most perfect thereof; from every name the greatest thereof; from every might the most mighty thereof; from every will the most compelling thereof; from every knowledge the most comprehensive thereof; from every power the most potent thereof; from every utterance the most well-pleasing thereof; from every request the most beloved thereof; from every sovereignty the most enduring thereof; from every dominion the most glorious thereof; and from every loftiness the most exalted thereof.

What ye have witnessed in the path of God is better for you in the sight of God, and in the sight of those who have recognized you, than the kingdom of earth and all that is therein. For were ye to possess this after your death, the angels of holiness, of glorification, of transcendence, of devotion, and of nearness would not descend upon your resting places. But now they do descend to your precinct and offer prayers at your graves. Ye shall return on the Day of Resurrection when God, your Lord, willeth it, and ye shall inherit the earth and all that is thereon when God, your Creator, desireth it. Verily, ye are coursing in the highest paradise before your Lord, and in the summit of holiness ye glorify God.

That which ye possess in the knowledge of your Lord is greater than what ye have acquired, for what ye behold in the life to come beareth no resemblance to what ye have seen in this first life. For those who have earned this in your regard, there is no fire more intense than what they have earned, since after this they shall not witness what they have done. Blessed are ye and what ye have acquired in the path of God in every circumstance… The tears of those who love you flow like oceans for what hath befallen you, and the hearts of your followers burn like olive leaves for what ye have witnessed in the path of God. God hath created no pleasure in paradise higher than the burning of those hearts in your calamities and the tears of those oceans in your tribulation.

Your hearts cease not to glorify God in the highest paradise, your spirits sanctify God in the heights of holiness, your souls unite with God in the summit of fellowship, and your bodies magnify God in the uttermost precinct of sanctity. How supreme is your calamity in all creation, wherein there is no equal, from the beginning that hath no beginning until this moment, and from this moment onward. No soul remembereth your tribulation and sheddeth tears from their eyes … in the sublimity of your calamity but God forgiveth whatsoever His knowledge hath encompassed. Verily, He is the All-Forgiving, the Most Generous. And no soul … your resting place and recognizeth your right, then offereth prayers upon you, but God uniteth them with you in the highest paradise. Verily, He is the Most Great, the Magnificent.
