I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thine eternity which is exalted above all things, to transform, through Thy power over all things, the essence of every being with an Alif that is attributed to the Tree of Fire into light. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy forgiving nature which transcendeth all things, to transform every being with a Ta that is attributed to the Tree of Fire into light, through Thy power over all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy steadfastness which is resplendent above all things, to transform every being with a Tha that is attributed to the Tree of Fire into light, through Thy power over all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy sovereignty which standeth independent of all things, to transform every being with a Jim that is attributed to the Tree of Fire into light, through Thy power over all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy life which is eternal above all things, to transform every being with a Ha that is attributed to the Tree of Fire into light, through Thy power over all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy creative power which is manifest above all things, to transform every being with a Kha that is attributed to the Tree of Fire into light, through Thy power over all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thine everlastingness which is glorified above all things, to transform every being with a Dal that is attributed to the Tree of Fire into light, through Thy power over all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy creative essence which is beautified above all things, to transform every being with a Dhal that is attributed to the Tree of Fire into light, through Thy power over all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy Lordship which is magnified above all things, to transform every being with a Ra that is attributed to the Tree of Fire into light, through Thy power over all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy nurturing power which is established above all things, to transform every being with a Za that is attributed to the Tree of Fire into light, through Thy power over all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy dominion which ruleth supreme above all things, to transform every being with a Sin that is attributed to the Tree of Fire into light, through Thy power over all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy witness-bearing nature which is illumined above all things, to transform every being with a Shin that is attributed to the Tree of Fire into light, through Thy power over all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy self-subsistence which is exalted above all things, to transform every being with a Sad that is attributed to the Tree of Fire into light, through Thy power over all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy sanctifying power which is purified above all things, to transform every being with a Ta that is attributed to the Tree of Fire into light, through Thy power over all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy forgiveness which seeth beyond all things to transform through Thy power over all things every essence of Ghayn attributed to the Tree of Fire into Light. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy singleness which standeth alone above all things to transform through Thy power over all things every essence of Fa attributed to the Tree of Fire into Light. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy power which extendeth over all things to transform through Thy power over all things every essence of Qaf attributed to the Tree of Fire into Light. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy essence which draweth nigh above all things to transform through Thy power over all things every essence of Kaf attributed to the Tree of Fire into Light. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy grace which bestoweth kindness above all things to transform through Thy power over all things every essence of Lam attributed to the Tree of Fire into Light. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy […] which precedeth all things to transform through Thy power over all things every essence of Mim attributed to the Tree of Fire into Light. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy luminosity which illumineth above all things to transform through Thy power over all things every essence of Nun attributed to the Tree of Fire into Light. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy oneness which […] above all things to transform through Thy power over all things every essence of Vav attributed to the Tree of Fire into Light. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy guidance which transcendeth all things to transform through Thy power over all things every essence of Ha attributed to the Tree of Fire into Light. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy divinity which is inaccessible above all things to transform through Thy power over all things every essence of La attributed to the Tree of Fire into Light. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy ruby-like essence which shineth above all things to transform through Thy power over all things every essence of Ya attributed to the Tree of Fire into Light. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing, the Most Powerful, the Most Great.

Glory be unto Thee, O my God! There is no difference between Fire and Light save the number of the Gate. Thou causest to enter whom Thou willest therein. Thus is the earth of Fire transformed into Light, and this in Thy power is nearer than all things. Shouldst Thou raise up one endued with sovereignty to prevail over all who are on earth, that they might declare:

“There is no God but God, and verily the Seven Letters are the Gate of God, and that which God hath sent down in the Bayan is the truth, wherein there is no doubt”

- a revelation from the Lord of the worlds—then would all fire be transformed into light […] O my God, in the exaltation of Thy mercy and the inaccessibility of Thy gift. Verily, Thy servants are weak within Thy grasp, turning as Thou causest them to turn, and submitting as Thou dost prevail over them.

Glory be unto Thee, O Lord! This is a night which Thou hast exalted among all nights. Therefore, O God, have mercy upon all things, for verily when a thing is related unto fire it becometh fire, and when it is related unto light it becometh light. By Thy might, it is as though I hear from all atoms the cry:

“O Thou our Succour! O our God, aid us and relate us unto the manifestations of Thy proof, and deliver us from the fire of our relationship to aught else but Thee!”

Or transform their relationship into a relationship with Thy Cause. Verily, Thou art the Omnipotent over all contingent beings, the Inaccessible to all created things, the Most Exalted above all beings, transcendent above all who dwell in the kingdoms of earth and heaven, and supreme over all atoms. Thou art the Subduer of all that can be indicated by allusions, and the Manifest One before Whom all that can be comprehended through evidences weepeth. Through Thy Will, in less than the twinkling of an eye, Thou canst transform the essence of fire into light. For verily, if fire itself should turn toward Thee and prostrate itself before Thee, then lo! it becometh light.

Therefore, O God, preserve all light lest it be transformed into aught else, and have mercy upon all fire that it may be transformed into Thy light. Verily, Thou art independent of all contingent beings and self-sufficient above all created things. There is no power nor strength except through Thee. Thou art the Single One, the Omnipotent, the Supreme, the Most High, the Sovereign, the Most Great, the Inaccessible, the Lord of Might and Majesty. O God! Send Thy blessings upon the Letters of the First at morn and at eventide.
