In the Name of God, the Exalted, the Most Holy!

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Divinity which is inaccessible above all things, to destroy every entity of Alif that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Transcendence which is elevated above all things, to destroy every entity of Ba that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Might which is independent above all things, to destroy every entity of Jim that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Perpetuity which precedeth all things, to destroy every entity of Dal that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Guidance which transcendeth all things, to destroy every entity of Ha that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Oneness which dominateth all things, to destroy every entity of Vav that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Cultivation which sustaineth all things, to destroy every entity of Za that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Life which endureth above all things, to destroy every entity of Ha that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Purity which purifieth all things, to destroy every entity of Ta that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Certainty which is established above all things, to destroy every entity of Ya that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Grandeur which is independent above all things, to destroy every entity of Kaf that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Subtlety which penetrateth all things, to destroy every entity of Lam that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Sovereignty which possesseth all things, to destroy every entity of Mim that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Luminosity which illumineth all things, to destroy every entity of Nun that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy transcendent knowledge which hath shone forth above all things to destroy every essence of the letter Sin that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy loftiness which hath dawned resplendent above all things to destroy every essence of the letter ʿAyn that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy singleness which is unique above all things to destroy every essence of the letter Fa that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Self-Subsistence which is effulgent above all things to destroy every essence of the letter Sad that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy All-Sustaining power which sustaineth all things to destroy every essence of the letter Qaf that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Lordship which transcendeth all things to destroy every essence of the letter Ra that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Witnessing which beareth witness above all things to destroy every essence of the letter Shin that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Ever-Forgiving nature which is purified above all things to destroy every essence of the letter Ta that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Constancy which is steadfast above all things to destroy every essence of the letter Tha that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Creative Power which is unique above all things to destroy every essence of the letter Kha that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Creative Force which is exalted above all things to destroy every essence of the letter Dhal that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy All-Preserving power which is glorified above all things to destroy every essence of the letter Dad that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Manifestness which is magnified above all things to destroy every essence of the letter Za that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

O my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Self-Sufficiency which is independent above all things to destroy every essence of the letter Ghayn that is attributed to the Tree of Negation, by Thy Being which is inaccessible above all things. Verily, Thou art the All-Knowing of all things.

Glorified art Thou, O my God! From time immemorial Thy Will hath held sway over all contingent beings and Thy Purpose hath been manifest above all created things. By it do all move, and by it do all find rest. Thou wert before all things, Thou art the Creator after all things, and Thou art the Being above all things. Thou hast created all things by Thy power from nothing, and things in Thy sight after their existence are even as they were before their existence, for Thou didst establish them by themselves out of nothing, and confined them within their bounds from nothing. Thou art He Whom nothing can comprehend, due to the loftiness of Thy Being, and Thou art He Whom nothing can describe, due to the sublimity of Thy Essence.

All glorify Thee, all praise Thee, all testify to Thy unity, and all magnify Thee according to what Thou hast created in the realm of origination and what can be conceived in the domain of invention. Yet how limited is that compared to what Thy Being deserveth and what befitteth the holy majesty of Thine Essence! What I have witnessed, O my God, are but two trees—one of negation which, by Thy justice, shall perish, and one of affirmation which, by Thy grace, shall endure. I beseech Thee, O my God, to destroy the tree of negation in such wise that no trace of it shall remain, and to elevate the tree of affirmation until it filleth the heavens and the earth and all that lieth between them with its mention, for this can only be achieved through Thy power, Thy might, Thy dominion, Thy sovereignty, Thy supremacy, Thy compelling force, Thy luminosity, Thy creative power, Thy munificence, Thy sanctity, Thy firstness, Thy lastness, Thy outwardness, Thy inwardness, Thy forgiving nature, and all that befitteth the holy majesty of Thine eternity, for all besides Thee are but Thy creation.

O my God, Thine are the most excellent names in their essence, and the supreme examples proclaim their abstraction. All stand fast within the compass of Thy Will, and all bow down before Thy Desire. Nothing existeth save through Thee, circling round “There is no God but Thee.”

I therefore beseech Thee to protect me and those who believe in the Bayan from the tree of negation and all that pertaineth unto it, and to grant me that which Thou hast ordained in the tree of affirmation and all that pertaineth unto it. For all grace proceedeth from Thee unto both these groups—unto those whom Thou causest to precede, whom Thou destroyest, whom Thou annihilatest, whom Thou forsaketh, whom Thou abaseth, and unto those whom Thou preserveth, whom Thou createth, whom Thou aideth, whom Thou exalteth, whom Thou uplifteth, and whom Thou makest to prevail. This is Thy justice toward the former and Thy grace toward the latter. I seek refuge with Thee from Thy justice unto Thee, and I beseech Thee of Thy grace before Thee, and I draw nigh unto Thee through Thee, hoping for that which befitteth the holy majesty of Thy oneness and the wondrous glory of Thy unity, for I have no path to aught besides Thee, nor can any who know Thee find access to other than Thee.

I therefore beseech Thee by all Thy love for what Thou lovest and art well-pleased with, and I seek Thy protection from that which Thou hast not reckoned in Thy knowledge, or dost reckon in Thy knowledge, or shall afterward reckon in Thy knowledge, for verily Thou art ever in a wondrous state, a new creation, an exalted might, and a lofty dominion, and none knoweth this save Thee.

Send down Thy blessings, O my God, upon Thy chosen ones in the kingdom of names and attributes, for none can encompass the knowledge thereof, and send down at this moment upon all who believe in the Bayan, whether male or female, and upon all who take shelter beneath the tree of Thy affirmation, though it be but an atom, that which befitteth the loftiness of Thy sanctification and the sublimity of Thy melody, for in Thy grasp is the kingdom of the hereafter and of the former time, and in Thy right hand is whatsoever is in the highest heavens and lowest earths and all that lieth between them and above them, even unto what Thou dost reckon.
