In the Name of God, the Most Great, the Most Great

Glorified art Thou, O my God! I testify, and all things testify, that Thou art God, there is no God but Thee, alone without peer. Thine is the Kingdom and the heavenly dominion, Thine the might and the celestial realm, Thine the power and the divine realm, Thine the strength and the ruby realm, Thine the sovereignty and the human realm. Thine are majesty and glory, Thine the countenance and beauty, Thine the face and perfection, Thine the similitude and parables, Thine the stations and grandeur, Thine the might and invincibility, Thine the power and exaltation, Thine the greatness and independence, Thine the grandeur and sublimity, Thine the joy and gladness, Thine the sovereignty and dominion. Thine is whatsoever Thou hast loved or wilt love in the Kingdom of Thy Cause and creation.

Thou hast ever been one God, single, eternal, self-subsisting, living, unchanging, sovereign, supreme, holy, everlasting, endless, inaccessible, exalted, ruling, possessing, glorified, powerful. Thou hast taken neither consort nor son, and Thou hast no partner in what Thou hast created, nor any protector in what Thou hast fashioned. Thou hast ordered by Thy wisdom the affairs of the Kingdom of Thy heaven and earth, and perfected by Thy Will the affairs of those in the Kingdom of Thy Cause and creation.

Thou hast ever been triumphant over all possibilities, manifest above all beings, inaccessible above all creatures, exalted above all atoms, transcendent above all who dwell in the kingdoms of earth and heaven, sovereign over all who inhabit the realms of names and attributes, and powerful over all creation. Sanctified are all Thy names and exalted are all Thy examples. Thou hast made Thyself known to all things, so nothing remains ignorant of Thee; yet Thou art hidden from all things, so nothing finds Thee. Thou art manifest above all things, and concealed beneath all things, the First before all things, and the Last after all things.

All bow down before Thee, all sanctify Thee, all glorify Thee, all extol Thee, all magnify Thee, all prostrate before Thee, all are detached unto Thee, all are guided to Thee, all are victorious through Thee, all worship Thee, and all turn their faces through Thee toward Thee. Thou hast ever been the All-Forgiving through bounty and grace, and the All-Compelling through might and justice. Thy giving is grace from Thy bounty, and Thy withholding is justice from Thy equity.

O God! Do Thou enrich all Thy creation from Thy presence, and send down upon all Thy chosen ones the dawning-places of Thy grace. Do Thou inspire in all Thy remembrance and thanksgiving, the triumph of Thy chosen ones and martyrs, tranquility in Thy remembrance, assurance in Thy grace, fear of Thee, and longing for Thee.

Glorified and exalted art Thou! Thou art He Who hath apportioned among Thy servants the measures of that toward which they journey, and hast bestowed upon each according to how their tongues stammer in Thy remembrance and yearn for Thy presence and nearness. Praise be unto Thee, O my God, praise that filleth Thy heaven with the appearance of Thy glory and Thy earth with the dawning of Thy holiness, and what lieth between them with the exaltation of Thy Cause and the inaccessibility of Thy remembrance.

Glorified, glorified art Thou! Thou hast not favored anyone except through knowledge of Thee, love for Thee, meeting with Thee, friendship with Thee, Thy good-pleasure and Thy glory. Therefore, O God, do Thou send down upon the land wherein Thou hast caused Thy chosen ones to enter Thy paradise, and upon those who dwell round about it, that which will establish their hearts in Thy religion, strengthen them through Thy power over all else in Thy creation, make manifest through them Thy manifestation over all others among Thy servants, send down upon them the blessings of heaven through Thy grace, bring forth for them the blessings of earth through Thy bounty, preserve them from what may sadden them before them and behind them, on their right and their left, above their heads and beneath their feet, enrich them through Thy riches, exalt them through Thy might, assist them through Thy help, support them through Thy signs, and nurture them through Thy words.

Glorified and exalted art Thou! Thou art He Whose mercy hath encompassed all created things, and Thy bounty hath surrounded all atoms. Therefore, O my God, send down upon Thy servants that which will satisfy them from the treasuries of Thy grace, reassure them through the wonders of Thy generosity, make them manifest upon the earth through Thy Manifestation, and strengthen them on earth through Thy power. Glory be to Thee and exalted art Thou, Who recompenseth every soul according to what it hath earned. Thou causest to enter whom Thou willest into Thy love and good-pleasure, which is the highest of Thy gardens and Thy paradise, and Thou withholdest from whom Thou willest the recognition of Thy Proof and His good-pleasure. That is the fire which Thou hast promised to the sinful among Thy servants.

Glory be to Thee, O my God! By Thy might, I seek refuge with Thee in this life from that fire, for whoso entereth therein shall dwell therein after death. And I beseech Thee for that paradise, for whoso entereth into the love of Thy Proof and His recognition shall enter therein after death. Glory be to Thee and exalted art Thou! All worship Thee—some beholding this with their eyes and others unknowingly. The heavens worship Thee through their steadfastness, the celestial spheres through their motion, the sun through its radiance, the moon through its light, the stars through their rising and setting, the earth through its stability, the mountains through their elevation, the seas through their waves, the trees through their fruits, and all things through that which proclaimeth their beauty before Thee—such is their worship of Thee before Thine eyes.

Glory be to Thee and exalted art Thou! Thou hast said, and Thy word is the truth: “There is nothing that doth not glorify His praise.” Yea, by Thy might! There is nothing that doth not glorify Thee from the beginning that hath no beginning unto the end that hath no end. Thou hast sent down Thy most beautiful names in Thy words and Tablets, and bestowed them upon whom Thou willest among Thy creation as a token of Thy honor and as evidence of Thy bounty and gift. Do Thou, O my God, send down upon all Thy guides, those who were and those who will be, that which will show them the good of their world and their hereafter. Verily, Thou givest life and causest death, then causest death and givest life. Verily, Thou art the Ever-Living Who dieth not, the King Who passeth not away, the Just Who wrongeth not, the Sovereign Who changeth not, the Single One from Whose grasp nothing escapeth, whether in the heavens or on the earth or between them. Thou createst what Thou willest by Thy command. Verily, Thou hast power over whatsoever Thou pleasest.

These are answers for him who hath migrated unto God, the One, the Single, the Self-Subsisting, his honor the most glorious and most noble, his honor Mulla Ahmad—upon him be the glory of his Lord without limit or end. I beseech God to preserve him in His glory until he turneth toward the everlasting realm, or ascendeth from this world and entereth the garden of eternity. Verily, He hath power over all things and knowledge of all things.
