In the Name of the Most High, the Most Great

Praise be to God Who bestows His favor upon whomsoever He willeth through His command. Say: The end belongs to the God-fearing.

We have indeed read the letter which thou didst send down by God’s leave, and We have learned of the mention of the name of Abraham and then of him who sent down the oil. Say: God will recompense the doers of good.

And verily what was said regarding Moses in the Qur’an is the truth, and in like manner God, thy Lord, doth teach His servants who are possessed of certitude.

Say to those who desire to strike thee for love of the mention of God’s name: Strike ye him who hath come between the people, and be patient, for unto everything there is an appointed time.

Send some copies to that land and say to those who follow Me: Fear ye God and be patient and say: Praise be to God, the Lord of the worlds.
