BB00564: Answer to Mirza Muhammad ’Ali Nahri and his friend
In the Name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate
Praise be to God Who hath manifested Himself unto His servants through the light of His might that shineth forth from the Face of Glory without similitude or likeness in the judgment of the heart or the hidden realm of beauty. And praise be to God Who hath sent down the verses of Sinai from the Tree of Revelation in like manner as was sent down in the two Commands, and was concealed in the two Symbols, and was explained in the two Books, and was manifested in the two Vessels, and was hidden in the two Names, and was perfected in the realities of the two worlds—derived from the multiplication of examples—there is no God but He, the Great, the Most High.
And praise be to God Who hath answered the atoms of all created things at the horizon of conjunction with a drop of life from this bitter ocean—the source of the mention of separation—without how or where, there is no God but He, the Self-Sufficient, the All-Bountiful.
And praise be to God Who hath explained whatsoever He willeth and distinguished whatsoever He desireth for His servant, lest anyone should say “Had God acquainted me with His verses, I would surely have been among those endowed with certitude.” And praise be to God, the Lord of all worlds.
